D1 Accounting and Taxation

For specialty 071 «Accounting and Taxation» accredited educational programs are: «Accounting and Taxation in the Management of Entrepreneurial Activity and the State Economic Sector»; «Administration of Taxes and Customs Payments»; and the educational and scientific program «Audit, State Financial Control and Expertise». There is the opportunity to receive double master's degrees based on a cooperation agreement with Wyzsza Szkola Gospodarki – University of Economics (Bydgoszcz, Poland – Bydgoszcz, Poland). Graduates acquire the ability to perform administrative and management activities related to accounting and taxation in commercial enterprises and state sector institutions, within the state financial control system, in tax authorities, in financial and credit institutions, in the field of financial and economic support of district and regional state administrations, and can engage in research and teaching activities. Wide opportunities are available for employment and career development in positions such as: head of an enterprise (institution, organization), senior employee of the apparatus of central and local state power and local self-government bodies, head of a financial, accounting, economic, administrative unit, chief accountant, chief economist, manager, financier, auditor, analyst, tax consultant, and advisor on economic issues.
