Academic Council Summarizes the 2024–2025 Academic Year
The meeting traditionally began with a ceremonial awarding of distinctions. Honorary Diplomas of the University, on the occasion of its anniversary, were presented to Petro Luzan, Oleksandr Skibinskyi, Pavlo Yeromin, Volodymyr Mirzak, Anatolii Artiukhov, Andrii Hrechka, Nataliia Nevdakha, Lika Vasylenko, Oleksii Zadorozhnyi, and Olena Boiko. On the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, awards were given to Viktor Slon, Oleksandr Krylov, Oleksandr Kozlovskyi, Serhii Kovalov, Volodymyr Sviatskyi, and Oleksandr Ulichev.
The achievements of students also did not go unnoticed. Diplomas were awarded to Oleksandr Skibinskyi and Vitalii Popov for prize-winning places in the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Machine-Building Technology. From the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, distinctions were awarded to CNTU students Pavlo Filipov, Daria Bondar, Oksana Mykytiuk, Kateryna Selikhova, Maksym Radchenko, Mariia Vasylkovska, Olena Andriiashevska, and Nazar Furkalo.
According to the agenda, the Rector of the University, Volodymyr Kropivnyi, reported on the work of the University in the 2024–2025 academic year and outlined the tasks for 2025–2026.
Based on the results of the competitive selection, the Academic Council approved staffing decisions: Olena Mahopets was elected Head of the Department of Audit, Accounting and Taxation; Volodymyr Yatsun – Professor of the Department of Construction and Road Machines and Construction; Serhii Osadchyi – Professor of the Department of Electrotechnical Systems and Energy Management; Serhii Mahopets – Head of the Department of Operation and Maintenance of Machines.
The meeting of the Academic Council confirmed: CNTU confidently sums up its achievements and sets ambitious goals for the future, combining the traditions of the university with progress and new accomplishments.
