Target groups:
1. Teaching staff of higher education institutions. The project will provide training sessions and webinars with the opportunity to learn about European approaches to compliance management, which will improve their qualifications and level of knowledge, as well as contribute to the professional development of university lecturers through access to current and advanced knowledge in this field. Strengthening the methodological base for compliance management provided by the project will contribute to the creation of more modern and relevant curricula and teaching methods.
2. Master's students. Students will have the opportunity to gain new, relevant knowledge and practical skills in compliance management, which will improve their job market prospects and career development opportunities in a demanding business environment after graduation. The implementation of the European approach will provide students with the opportunity to study and use international experience in the field of compliance management, which will broaden their global outlook, taking into account the specifics of the common labor market and legislation.
3. Managers and business owners who will receive advanced training and modern knowledge in the field of compliance management. Current knowledge about innovative compliance management practices will allow managers and business owners to improve their management strategies and increase the efficiency of business processes. The knowledge and practical skills acquired during the training will contribute to the implementation and optimization of compliance systems in their own companies, which will increase their efficiency and competitiveness in national and foreign markets, ensure business compliance with international standards and regulatory norms, which, in turn, will contribute to attracting customers and investors.

Project goal and objectives: The main focus of the project is on implementing a European approach to compliance management with the strategic goal of increasing the level of academic integrity, international management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and legal aspects in less experienced Ukrainian higher education institutions. The project aims to improve teaching and assessment mechanisms in higher education institutions with an emphasis on quality assurance, management, anti-bribery, and innovation in accordance with EU standards in the field of compliance.
Project objectives are as follows:
1. Improving teaching methods. The project aims to improve teaching and assessment mechanisms, quality assurance, management, and innovation in Ukrainian higher education institutions by integrating European compliance methodology.
2. Increasing the accessibility of compliance education. Increasing the accessibility and quality of compliance management education in the fields of entrepreneurship, management, and law in Ukrainian higher education institutions to facilitate adaptation to the requirements of the European labor market.
3. Promoting employment stability for graduates of Ukrainian universities. To ensure the stability of employment opportunities for graduates of Ukrainian universities in the context of European integration and globalization through compliance competencies.
4. Promoting digital transformation. To promote digital transformation in teaching compliance management in Ukrainian partner higher education institutions using innovative tools such as e-books, podcasts, videos, and gamification solutions.
Project activities:
1. Improving the capabilities and capacity of academic staff regarding teaching and research in the field of compliance management
- Updating EU content for professional development of teachers in Ukrainian higher education institutions in accordance with EU experience and Ukrainian conditions
- Development and implementation of an EU curriculum on "Introduction to Compliance Management Education in the EU: Innovations and Interdisciplinary Approaches"
- Conducting 4 online webinars (8 days in total) on compliance management (aspects of management, economics, entrepreneurship, law, and business ethics)
- Development of 4 curricula and activities within the framework of the EU Summer School "EUComplianceM4UAmethods", dedicated to EU teaching methods in the field of compliance management
- Conducting the EU Summer School "EUComplianceM4UAmethods" on teaching methodology in the EU in the field of compliance management (aspects of management, economics, entrepreneurship, law, and business ethics)
- Organization of the final international project conference
2. Development of 5 courses for master's students of Ukrainian higher education institutions to improve the level of competencies, skills, and employability, as well as a manual for master's students "Compliance Management"
3. Creation of an open micro-certified short-term program on compliance management for business managers in order to ensure better compliance with labor market needs
4. Promoting digital transformation in teaching compliance management in Ukraine (partner higher education institutions):
- Creation of an introductory educational video to demonstrate European experience in the field of compliance management
- Creation of the EUComplianceM4UA YouTube channel
- Development of a Futurebook (e-book) "Compliance Management" for master's students (in English and Ukrainian)
- Creation of 5 university podcast studios
- Development of educational podcasts about compliance in Ukraine
Expected results:
1. Developed capacity of academic staff in the field of compliance management: teaching, training, and research
- EU curriculum "Introduction to Compliance Management Education: Innovative and Interdisciplinary Approaches"; a total of 28 representatives of higher education institutions from the EU and Ukraine will be trained
- 4 online webinars (8 days in total) on compliance management; 25 representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions will be trained
- EU Summer School "EUComplianceM4UAmethods" on EU teaching methods in the field of compliance management; 33 representatives of partner higher education institutions will be trained
- Final international project conference; a total of 28 representatives of higher education institutions from the EU and Ukraine will participate
- 161 internal certificates will be issued after all training and educational events
- Adoption of 1 proposal for the implementation of compliance management approaches in Ukrainian higher education
2. Development of innovative compliance management courses for master's students
- 5 syllabi (in English and Ukrainian) for courses
- 5 courses for master's students, including teaching materials, digital video, and electronic educational content
- Manual for master's students "Compliance Management"
- Approximately 150 master's level students will be trained
3. Certified professional development in the field of compliance management
- One open micro-certified short-term program on compliance management for business managers, including teaching materials, digital video, and electronic educational content
- About 100 business managers will be trained under this program
4. Digital resources and multimedia tools for teaching compliance management
- Introductory educational video to demonstrate European experience in the field of compliance management
- E-book (Futurebook) "Compliance Management" (in English and Ukrainian)
