About half of the world's habitable land is used for agriculture, and a third of the population depends directly on it. At the same time, agricultural systems are particularly vulnerable to climate change. The Building Resilience in Agriculture program aims to support innovative projects that will help farms, communities, and ecosystems adapt to new challenges.

What does the program support?

  • field projects that apply and test solutions on farms, in rural communities, or in surrounding areas;
  • innovations that strengthen:
    - soil health
    - climate change adaptation
    - water resources and watersheds
    - biodiversity
    - well-being and resilience of farming communities
