The field of professional activity for bachelors is the creation of objects in the field of construction and civil engineering, which includes design, construction (new construction, reconstruction, capital repair), and operation of facilities. Education at the first (bachelor's) level in the specialty G19 "Construction and Civil Engineering" provides the opportunity to perform professional work in accordance with the current version of the National Classifier of Ukraine (Classification of Occupations DK 003: 2010):
3112 – Construction technician: construction supervisor, estimator, construction technician, maintenance technician, laboratory technician (construction), labor standardization technician, production preparation technician;
3118 – Drafters: design technician, design drafter;
3119 – Other technical specialists in the field of physical sciences and engineering: production preparation technician, technical documentation preparation technician.
Our bachelors carry out design and engineering, production and technological, and organizational and management activities at enterprises of industrial, civil, and agrotechnical construction in the Central Ukrainian region of all forms of ownership, such as LLC "AGROENGINEERING", LLC "ALLIANCEBUDSERVICE", PE "DIALOG-BUD", PE "CENTERVIYSKBUD", LLC "PROMSTALKARKAS", LLC "ZHYTLO-SERVICE GRADOBUD", LLC "Production Laboratory Budstandart".
The specialty provides the skills to: apply basic theories, methods, and principles of mathematical, natural, social-humanitarian, and economic sciences, as well as modern models, methods, and software tools for decision support to solve complex problems in construction and civil engineering; participate in research and development in the field of architecture and construction; present the results of one's own work and argue one's position on professional issues to both specialists and non-specialists, communicating fluently in the state and a foreign language; design and implement technological processes of construction production using appropriate equipment, materials, tools, and methods; use and develop technical documentation at all stages of the construction product life cycle; apply modern information technologies to solve engineering and management tasks in construction and civil engineering; perform data collection, interpretation, and application, including through searching, processing, and analyzing information from various sources; rationally apply modern building materials, products, and structures based on knowledge of their technical characteristics and manufacturing technology; design building structures, buildings, facilities, engineering networks, and technological processes of construction production, taking into account engineering-technical and resource-saving measures, legal, social, environmental, technical-economic indicators, scientific and ethical aspects, and modern requirements of regulatory documentation, time and other constraints in the field of architecture and construction, environmental protection, and occupational safety; make and implement rational decisions on the organization and management of construction processes during the erection of construction objects and their operation; evaluate the compliance of projects with the principles of urban territory design and infrastructure and municipal facilities; possess advanced cognitive and practical skills, mastery, and innovation at the level required to solve complex specialized tasks in the field of construction and civil engineering; organize and lead the professional development of individuals and groups in the field of architecture and construction.
The list of laboratories and subject classrooms involved in the training of students of the first (bachelor's) level includes: "Subject classroom for the construction of buildings and structures", laboratory "Technology and machines for earthworks", laboratory "Machines for the production of building materials and structures", subject classroom for "Fundamentals of construction and architecture", laboratory "Advanced materials and technological processes in construction", laboratory "Testing of materials and structures". The classrooms and laboratories of the graduating department of BDM&B are equipped with modern multimedia equipment, a laboratory "Dynamics and strength in mechanical engineering and construction" has been created with modern computers and 3D printers, and there is a free network access to Internet resources.

Training in the specialty "Construction and Civil Engineering" involves a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge with practical skills and professional activity abilities at the stages of designing building structures, buildings, facilities, foundations, engineering networks, and technological processes of construction production, taking into account the specifics of the Central Ukrainian region and martial law conditions, with an emphasis on developing skills in applying modern information technologies, state building codes, and the capacity for engineering activities, which ensures the preparation of specialists who meet the modern level of development of the construction industry.
Training of applicants for the "bachelor" educational level is carried out by the Department of Construction and Road Machinery and Construction.
