The educational program "Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex" ensures that graduates of the first (bachelor's) educational level develop a complex of theoretical and practical knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary for solving problems related to the effective operation of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies of agro-industrial production. It provides training for specialists with a high level of competitiveness both in Ukraine and in the European space, with the capacity for their further independent professional development.
A feature of the program is the optimal combination for graduates, taking into account industry and regional specifics, of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that ensure their ability to solve specialized tasks and applied problems related to the use of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies for production, primary processing, storage, and transportation of agricultural products, technical maintenance and troubleshooting, and the management of mechanized and automated technological processes and production units that provide technical support for agro-industrial production.
In the learning process, which is oriented toward the individual needs of each student, students, based on the theories and laws of fundamental, agronomic, and general engineering sciences, acquire the following basic professional knowledge and skills in:
· mastering and applying international and national standards and practices of professional activity;
· the design and operating principles of basic machines, systems (machine-tractor units), and agricultural production equipment;
· ensuring the effective operation of agricultural machinery and production processes for the storage, processing, and transportation of agricultural products;
· designing and evaluating, based on parameters of quality, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness, technological processes (in accordance with agro-climatic conditions) for the cultivation, transportation, and primary processing of agricultural products, providing them with a complex of machines and equipment, and assessing operating modes;
· applying comprehensive strategies and systems for restoring the operational capability of tractors, combines, automobiles, agricultural machines, and equipment; scheduling the frequency of all types of repair and maintenance activities, and determining requirements for fuels, lubricants, and spare parts;
· the specifics of performing modern diagnostic, technical maintenance, and repair operations for all types of agricultural machines, equipment, and other machinery, in compliance with occupational health and safety measures for personnel in accordance with the legal requirements of Ukrainian legislation;
· based on modern management methods, organizing production processes for units providing technical support for agro-industrial production, including economic justification of their operational efficiency, etc.
The educational process is supported by a modern material and technical base that meets the requirements for licensing and conducting educational activities. Student training is carried out in classrooms and laboratories of the graduating department of "Operation and Repair of Machines" (in separate buildings No. 3 and No. 5) and in the main buildings of the university. All educational premises are equipped with the necessary laboratory and mock-up equipment, multimedia tools (PCs, projectors, interactive whiteboards), and a Wi-Fi network; there is a dedicated modern computer lab with free access to the Internet, the university library's electronic catalogs, and the Repository. The educational process is supported by the effective operation of an electronic educational portal on the "Moodle" platform, which supports distance and blended learning formats. There is a well-developed infrastructure (cafeterias, a canteen, dormitories, sports halls and grounds, a recreation camp, etc.).

Освітня програма «Технічний сервіс в АПК» забезпечує формування у випускників І-го (бакалаврського) освітнього рівня комплексу теоретичних і практичних знань, умінь та навичок необхідних для розв’язання проблем ефективного функціонування сільськогосподарської техніки і механізованих технологій агропромислового виробництва та забезпечує підготовку фахівців із високим рівнем конкурентності як в Україні, так й у європейському просторі, із здатністю до їх подальшого самостійного професійного розвитку.
Особливістю програми є оптимальне поєднання у випускників, з урахуванням галузевої й регіональної специфіки, теоретичних знань і практичних вмінь, що забезпечують їм здатність розв'язувати спеціалізовані завдання та прикладні задачі, пов’язані із застосуванням сільськогосподарської техніки і механізованих технологій виробництва, первинної обробки, зберігання та транспортування сільськогосподарської продукції, технічного обслуговування та усунення відмов, управління механізованими та автоматизованими технологічними процесами, виробничими підрозділами, які здійснюють технічне забезпечення агропромислового виробництва.
В процесі навчання, орієнтованого на індивідуальні потреби кожного здобувача, студенти на основі теорій й законів фундаментальних, агрономічних та загально-інженерних наук, отримують наступні основні професійні знання та вміння з:
· володіння й застосування міжнародних й національних стандартів та практик професійної діяльності;
· будови та принципів дії основних машин, систем (машинно-тракторних агрегатів) та обладнання аграрного виробництва;
· забезпечення ефективного функціонування сільськогосподарської техніки та виробничих процесів зберігання, обробки та транспортування сільськогосподарської продукції;
· проектування та оцінювання, за параметрами якості, економічності та екологічності, технологічних процесів (у відповідності до агрокліматичних умов) вирощування, транспортування й первинної обробки сільськогосподарської продукції із їх забезпеченням комплексом машин і обладнання та оцінкою робочих режимів;
· застосування комплексних стратегій й систем відновлення працездатності тракторів, комбайнів, автомобілів, сільськогосподарських машин та обладнання; складання періодичності проведення всіх видів ремонтно-обслуговуючих дій, потреб у паливо-мастильних матеріалах і запасних частинах;
· особливості виконання сучасних операцій діагностування, технічного обслуговування та ремонту всіх видів сільськогосподарських машин, обладнання й іншої техніки, із дотриманням заходів охорони праці і безпеки життєдіяльності персоналу у відповідності до правових вимог законодавства України;
· на основі сучасних методів управління - організацію виробничих процесів підрозділів з технічного забезпечення агропромислових виробництв із економічним обґрунтуванням ефективності їх функціонування та ін.
Освітній процес забезпечується сучасною матеріально-технічною базою, яка відповідає вимогам ліцензії та провадження освітньої діяльності. Підготовка здобувачів проводиться у аудиторіях, класах та лабораторіях як випускової кафедри «Експлуатація та ремонт машин» (окремих корпусах № 3 та № 5) та у основних корпусах університету. Всі навчальні приміщення оснащені необхідним лабораторним та макетним обладнанням, мультимедійними засобами (ПК, проекторами, інтерактивними дошками) та WI-FI мережею; є власний сучасний комп'ютерний клас з вільним доступом до мережі Internet та електронних каталогів бібліотеки університету та Репозитарію. Навчальний процес забезпечується ефективною роботою електронного освітнього порталу на платформі «Moodle», який підтримує дистанційну та змішану форми навчання. Наявна добре розвинена інфраструктура (буфети, їдальня, гуртожитки, спортивні зали та майданчики, оздоровчий табір тощо).
Exchange programs are available for students, teachers, and researchers from European countries – Erasmus+ and student exchange between universities of the European continent – TEMPUS/TACIS. Within the framework of cooperation agreements, collaboration is carried out with universities in Georgia, Poland, and others.
Practical training for students in all types of industrial and pre-graduation internships is conducted at transport industry enterprises in Kropyvnytskyi, including: LLC "AGROSPETSEXPORT" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "Novagrotechservice" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "LANDTECH" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "AgroDar-Ukraine" (Kropyvnytskyi), PJSC KATP "Agrobudavtoservice" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "Stroyinvest" (Kropyvnytskyi), etc., and involves the participation of leading industry specialists in the educational process.
Працюють програми обміну для студентів, викладачів і науковців країн Європи – Erasmus + та обміну студентами між університетами європейського континенту – TEMPUS/TACIS. В рамках угоди про співробітництво проводиться співпраця з університетами Грузії, Польщі та ін.
Практична підготовка здобувачів за всіма видами виробничих та переддипломних практик проводиться на підприємствах галузі транспорту м. Кропивницький, серед яких: ТОВ «АГРОСПЕЦЕКСПОРТ» (м. Кропивницький), ТОВ «Новагротехсервіс» (м. Кропивницький), ТОВ «ЛАНДТЕХ» (м. Кропивницький), ТОВ «АгроДар-Україна» (м. Кропивницький), ПрАТ КАТП «Агробудавтосервіс» (м. Кропивницький), ТОВ «Стройінвест» (м. Кропивницький) тощо та передбачає залучення провідних фахівців підприємств галузі до навчального процесу.
