The educational program "Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex" ensures that graduates of the first (bachelor's) educational level develop a complex of theoretical and practical knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary for solving problems related to the effective operation of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies of agro-industrial production. It provides training for specialists with a high level of competitiveness both in Ukraine and in the European space, with the capacity for their further independent professional development.
A feature of the program is the optimal combination for graduates, taking into account industry and regional specifics, of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that ensure their ability to solve specialized tasks and applied problems related to the use of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies for production, primary processing, storage, and transportation of agricultural products, technical maintenance and troubleshooting, and the management of mechanized and automated technological processes and production units that provide technical support for agro-industrial production.
In the learning process, which is oriented toward the individual needs of each student, students, based on the theories and laws of fundamental, agronomic, and general engineering sciences, acquire the following basic professional knowledge and skills in:
· mastering and applying international and national standards and practices of professional activity;
· the design and operating principles of basic machines, systems (machine-tractor units), and agricultural production equipment;
· ensuring the effective operation of agricultural machinery and production processes for the storage, processing, and transportation of agricultural products;
· designing and evaluating, based on parameters of quality, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness, technological processes (in accordance with agro-climatic conditions) for the cultivation, transportation, and primary processing of agricultural products, providing them with a complex of machines and equipment, and assessing operating modes;
· applying comprehensive strategies and systems for restoring the operational capability of tractors, combines, automobiles, agricultural machines, and equipment; scheduling the frequency of all types of repair and maintenance activities, and determining requirements for fuels, lubricants, and spare parts;
· the specifics of performing modern diagnostic, technical maintenance, and repair operations for all types of agricultural machines, equipment, and other machinery, in compliance with occupational health and safety measures for personnel in accordance with the legal requirements of Ukrainian legislation;
· based on modern management methods, organizing production processes for units providing technical support for agro-industrial production, including economic justification of their operational efficiency, etc.
The educational process is supported by a modern material and technical base that meets the requirements for licensing and conducting educational activities. Student training is carried out in classrooms and laboratories of the graduating department of "Operation and Repair of Machines" (in separate buildings No. 3 and No. 5) and in the main buildings of the university. All educational premises are equipped with the necessary laboratory and mock-up equipment, multimedia tools (PCs, projectors, interactive whiteboards), and a Wi-Fi network; there is a dedicated modern computer lab with free access to the Internet, the university library's electronic catalogs, and the Repository. The educational process is supported by the effective operation of an electronic educational portal on the "Moodle" platform, which supports distance and blended learning formats. There is a well-developed infrastructure (cafeterias, a canteen, dormitories, sports halls and grounds, a recreation camp, etc.).

Educational Program «Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex» ensures the formation of graduates of the first (bachelor's) educational level with a set of theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to solve problems of effective functioning of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies of agro-industrial production, and provides training of specialists with a high level of competitiveness both in Ukraine and in the European space, with the ability for their further independent professional development.
A distinctive feature of the program is the optimal combination in graduates, taking into account industry and regional specifics, of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that ensure their ability to solve specialized tasks and applied problems related to the use of agricultural machinery and mechanized technologies of production, primary processing, storage and transportation of agricultural products, maintenance and fault elimination, management of mechanized and automated technological processes, production units that provide technical support for agro-industrial production.
During studies, oriented to the individual needs of each learner, students on the basis of theories and laws of fundamental, agronomic and general engineering sciences, acquire the following main professional knowledge and skills in:
· mastery and application of international and national standards and practices of professional activity;
· design and principles of operation of the main machines, systems (machine-tractor aggregates) and equipment of agricultural production;
· ensuring the effective functioning of agricultural machinery and production processes of storage, processing and transportation of agricultural products;
· design and evaluation, by parameters of quality, economic efficiency and environmental friendliness, of technological processes (in accordance with agro-climatic conditions) of cultivation, transportation and primary processing of agricultural products with their provision by a set of machines and equipment and evaluation of operating modes;
· application of integrated strategies and systems for restoring operability of tractors, combines, automobiles, agricultural machines and equipment; establishing the periodicity of all types of repair and maintenance actions, needs for fuel and lubricants and spare parts;
· features of performing modern diagnostic operations, maintenance and repair of all types of agricultural machines, equipment and other machinery, with adherence to safety and life safety measures in accordance with the legal requirements of Ukrainian legislation;
· on the basis of modern management methods - organization of production processes of divisions providing technical support for agro-industrial production with economic justification of their functioning and other related aspects.
The educational process is supported by a modern material-technical base that meets licensing requirements and the conduct of educational activities. Training of students is carried out in classrooms and laboratories of the Department of «Operation and Repair of Machines» (in separate buildings No. 3 and No. 5) and in the main buildings of the university. All teaching premises are equipped with the necessary laboratory and mock-up equipment, multimedia tools (PCs, projectors, interactive whiteboards) and a WI-FI network; there is a modern computer classroom with free access to the Internet and to the electronic catalogs of the university library and the Repository. The educational process is supported by the effective operation of the electronic educational portal on the «Moodle» platform, which supports distance and blended forms of learning. There is a well-developed infrastructure (cafeterias, dining hall, dormitories, sports halls and grounds, a health camp, etc.).
Exchange programs are available for students, teachers, and researchers from European countries – Erasmus+ and student exchange between universities of the European continent – TEMPUS/TACIS. Within the framework of cooperation agreements, collaboration is carried out with universities in Georgia, Poland, and others.
Practical training for students in all types of industrial and pre-graduation internships is conducted at transport industry enterprises in Kropyvnytskyi, including: LLC "AGROSPETSEXPORT" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "Novagrotechservice" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "LANDTECH" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "AgroDar-Ukraine" (Kropyvnytskyi), PJSC KATP "Agrobudavtoservice" (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC "Stroyinvest" (Kropyvnytskyi), etc., and involves the participation of leading industry specialists in the educational process.
Exchange programs for students, teachers and researchers of European countries – Erasmus + and student exchange between universities of the European continent – TEMPUS/TACIS. As part of the cooperation agreement, cooperation is carried out with universities of Georgia, Poland and others.
Practical training of applicants for all types of production and pre-diploma internships is conducted at enterprises of the transport sector in the city of Kropyvnytskyi, including: LLC «AGROSPECEXPORT» (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC «NOVAGROTECHSERVIS» (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC «LANDTECH» (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC «AGRODAR-UKRAINE» (Kropyvnytskyi), Private Joint-Stock Company «AGROBUDAVTOSERVIS» (Kropyvnytskyi), LLC «STROYINVEST» (Kropyvnytskyi) etc. and provides for the involvement of leading industry professionals from sector enterprises in the educational process.
The training of applicants for the first (bachelor's) level under the educational program "Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex" is carried out by the graduating department of "Operation and Repair of Machines," which has a highly qualified staff of scientific and pedagogical workers, numbering 17 professors and associate professors.
