Library

The University Library of CNTU contains over 1,450,000 copies of documents in both print and electronic formats, diverse in type and purpose.

The library serves as an information center where users turn for academic and educational resources. It regularly hosts book exhibitions, open literature displays, departmental days, student scientific and practical conferences, and literary evenings dedicated to the works of well-known authors.

The library includes the following departments: acquisition and scientific processing of literature; user services with sectors (educational literature circulation, fiction circulation, interlibrary loan; reading room of technical literature; reading room of socio-political and economic literature; reading room of periodicals); and the information and bibliographic department.

Great attention is devoted to the presentation and preservation of the university community’s scholarly achievements in the open electronic archive – the CUNTUR University Repository, which holds more than 15,000 documents. This plays a vital role in supporting the university’s research activities and ensuring the educational process.

The library provides access to scientometric databases Scopus, Web of Science, and Research4Life in order to strengthen the university’s research potential, maintain the appropriate scientific and technical level, and improve the quality of educational services.

Alongside traditional catalogs, users can also work with the library’s electronic catalog, which contains more than 160,000 bibliographic records of books and journal articles.
