Accreditation and Licensing Center

The Accreditation and Licensing Center was established as a structural unit of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University to comprehensively promote the University's quality educational policy and expand the range of educational services.

The main functions of the Accreditation and Licensing Center are:

• Studying the regulatory framework and amendments thereto regarding licensing and accreditation, summarizing the information received, and informing faculty deans, department heads, and educational program guarantors.
• Providing information and advisory assistance to the University's structural units on fulfilling State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for educational activities, regulations on the accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and other regulatory documents).
• Monitoring the compliance of structural units with State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for educational activities, regulations on the accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and other regulatory documents).
• Summarizing information about educational program guarantors planning to undergo accreditation in the next academic year and submitting it to the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance for the formation of relevant schedules.
• Monitoring the uploading of information by the responsible person into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO) regarding staffing, educational-methodological, and material-technical support in accordance with State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for educational activities, regulations on the accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and other regulatory documents).
• Close cooperation with the Scientific and Methodological Councils of the faculty and the university on issues of accreditation and licensing of educational activities.
• Conducting verification and analysis of materials prepared by responsible persons regarding the licensing and accreditation of educational activities for compliance with State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for educational activities, regulations on the accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and other regulatory documents).

In its work, the Accreditation and Licensing Center cooperates with the Licensing Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and others.

• Study of the regulatory framework and changes to it on licensing and accreditation matters, generalization of the obtained information and informing the deans of faculties, heads of departments, and guarantors of educational programs.
• Providing informational and consulting assistance to the University’s structural units on issues of fulfilling the State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for the conduct of educational activities, provisions on accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and other regulatory documents).
• Monitoring compliance by structural units with the State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for the conduct of educational activities, provisions on accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, other regulatory documents).
• Generalizing information about guarantors of educational programs who plan to be accredited in the next academic year and submitting it to the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education to form the corresponding schedules.
• Monitoring the fact of uploading by the responsible person into the EDEBO electronic system information about staffing, educational-methodical, and material-technical support in accordance with the State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for the conduct of educational activities, provisions on accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and other regulatory documents).
• Close cooperation with the faculty and university Scientific and Methodological Councils on issues of accreditation and licensing of educational activities.
• Conducting checks and analyses of materials prepared by responsible persons regarding licensing and accreditation of educational activities for compliance with the State requirements for licensing and accreditation (Licensing conditions for the conduct of educational activities, provisions on accreditation of educational programs, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, other regulatory documents).

In its work, the Center for Accreditation and Licensing collaborates with the Licensing Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, etc.
