VSP Svitlovodsk Polytechnic Vocational College

In order to meet the growing needs of the Svitlovodsk Radio Plant for qualified personnel, the Svitlovodsk branch of the Kyiv College of Radioelectronic Instrumentation was established in 1985. In 1988, an independent educational institution with full-time and evening forms of study was created on the basis of the branch – the Svitlovodsk College of Radioelectronic Instrumentation, which was renamed in 2008 to the State Higher Educational Institution "Svitlovodsk Polytechnic College". In 2012, the college became part of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University. In 2020, the college became an institution of professional pre-higher education. By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, it was renamed to the Separate Structural Unit "Svitlovodsk Polytechnic Professional College of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University".

The college trains specialists (professional junior bachelors) in the following specialties:

• Economics;
• Accounting and Taxation;
• Entrepreneurship and Trade;
• Software Engineering;
• Branch Mechanical Engineering;
• Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics;
• Electronic Communications and Radio Engineering.

In 1988, based on the branch, an independent educational establishment with daytime and evening forms of study – the Svitlovodsk Technical College of Radio-Electronic Instrument Engineering, which in 2008 was renamed to the State Higher Educational Establishment «Svitlovodsk Polytechnic College». In 2012 the college became part of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University. In 2020 the college becomes an institution of professional pre-higher education. By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine it was renamed to the Separate Structural Subdivision «Svitlovodsk Polytechnic Professional College of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University».
