In 1973, he graduated from Gorky State University with a degree in Radiophysics. He has been working at KNTU since 1973, holding the positions of senior engineer, head of the computer center, chief engineer, and director of the Information and Computing Center. He is one of the founders of the Information and Computing Center (1974) and the Editorial and Publishing Laboratory (1995).
Alongside his main work, he was involved in research (senior researcher, principal investigator, and manager of contract research projects (1978-1990)) and teaching (assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Automated Production Processes (1991-2010)). His field of scientific activity is the automation of research on sowing systems.
He is the author of more than 70 scientific publications, including 4 textbooks and 15 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
He was awarded the badges "Inventor of the USSR" (1989), "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" (2000), the Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2004), and the Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2004).

Alongside his main work, he engaged in scientific research (senior research fellow, responsible executor and manager of R&D projects (1978-1990)) and teaching (assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the AVP Department (1991-2010)). The field of scientific activity is the automation of sowing systems research.
