Welcome first-year students to the KNTU family!
The first day within the university walls traditionally became an introduction to the KNTU family for our first-year students. The students got acquainted with the university structure, their dean's offices, and curators, taking their first steps into a new friendly community. On the very first day, there was a need to get familiar with the university's shelters. During the second week of studies, the first curator hour took place, dedicated to introducing the auxiliary structures of KNTU: the library, the student council, the psychological service, and other important departments that will help with studies and student life.
Ahead is a series of events called "How to survive at university".
The first meeting is already planned and will help students better understand how to adapt to the educational process, organize their time, and take advantage of all the university's opportunities.
✨ We wish all first-year students an easy start, inspiration, and new achievements together with KNTU!

The survey results are anonymous, but students indicate their higher education institution and, if they wish, a code word, which allows them to receive their individual diagnostic results by contacting the university's psychological service psychologist.
The study is conducted on the RedCap platform, which ensures the confidentiality of the data obtained in accordance with European standards.
All study participants will be entered into a raffle for three valuable prizes from the Association of Higher Education Psychologists of Ukraine. A video of the raffle with the announcement of the winners will be published on the Association's Facebook page at the end of May 2025.

Training "Psychological Portrait of a Ukrainian"
On March 26, as part of a series of events to promote the Ukrainian language, initiated by the NGO "Yedyni" (United) and at the request of the KNTU student council, a training session titled "Psychological Portrait of a Ukrainian" was held at the university. This was the third event within the framework of this project.
There were not many of us this time. It was encouraging to see the interest in the topic from students of various years, as well as the presence of faculty members.
We talked about different national psychological portraits. We analyzed cross-cultural differences in collective structures. We examined the historical features of the formation of basic personality traits.
The intimate nature of the event allowed us to spend time discussing interesting questions, and everyone was able to express their opinion and hear others.
On March 19, we held an online meeting on the topic "Why it is important to speak the language of the heart"
This was the second in a series of events promoting the Ukrainian language, initiated by the NGO "Yedyni" (United) and at the request of the student council of CNTU.
We talked about language as a sign of a mature nation, about the connection with our ancestors, the preservation and transmission of traditions, the reasons that encourage people to switch to Ukrainian, and the motivation and difficulties along this path.

Art therapy training on creating a "Neuro-Christmas Tree" united students in a pre-Christmas atmosphere
On December 24, on the eve of Christmas, a unique art therapy training on creating a "Neuro-Christmas Tree" took place in the cozy atmosphere of CNTU. The event was organized jointly with the university's student council to help participants creatively summarize the outgoing year and tune in to positive changes in the new year.
The training combined elements of neurographica — a modern method of visualization and transformation of emotions through drawing, techniques for working with metaphorical associative cards, as well as coaching methods for personal development.
Participants had the opportunity to:
• feel harmony in the creative process;
• analyze their achievements and unfinished business;
• formulate goals and plans for 2024.
Informal communication, exchange of thoughts and ideas contributed to creating a true atmosphere of support and inspiration. Each participant left the training not only with their own unique "Neuro-Christmas Tree" but also with an inner sense of confidence and readiness for new achievements.
This event became a bright example of how creativity and art therapy can help in solving personal tasks, create a space for self-reflection, and promote the cohesion of the student community.
We thank everyone who joined in the organization and conduct of this training, and we wish everyone inspiration, harmony, and a successful New Year!

Tolerance Training
On November 19, 2024, a training session dedicated to modern tolerance was held. Symbolically, it fell on the 1000th day since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The number 1000 symbolizes endurance, resilience, and our ability to seek light even in the darkest of times. Over these days, as a people, as a country, and as individuals, we have learned the most important thing – to be humane. Tolerance has become the invisible bridge that unites us all: regardless of views, religion, language, or skin color.
It is a reminder that even in times of war, we are building a future in which respect, acceptance, and understanding are the foundation of our common home.
Tolerance begins with each of us. It is like a candle lit from another candle: the light of one person can illuminate the whole world.
On October 22, as part of the work of the scientific circle "Life Safety: Research and Practice," a training session on "First Psychological Aid" was held.
The "What's Bothering You" box continues to operate.
