Target groups:
1. Teaching staff of higher education institutions. The project will provide training and webinars with the opportunity to learn about European approaches to compliance management, which will improve their skills and level of expertise and will contribute to the professional development of university lecturers through access to relevant and advanced knowledge in this area. The strengthening of the methodological framework on compliance management provided by the project will contribute to the creation of more modern and relevant curricula and teaching methods.
2. Master students. Students will have the opportunity to acquire new, relevant knowledge and practical skills in compliance management, which will improve their prospects in the labor market and career development opportunities in a demanding business environment after graduation. The implementation of the European approach will provide students with the opportunity to study and use international experience in the field of compliance management, which will broaden their global perspective, taking into account the peculiarities of the common labour market and legislation.
3. Managers and business owners who will receive advanced training and up-to-date knowledge in the field of compliance management. Up-to-date knowledge of innovative compliance management practices will allow managers and business owners to improve their management strategies and increase the efficiency of business processes. The knowledge and practical skills acquired in the course of the training will facilitate the implementation and optimization of compliance systems in their own companies, which will increase their efficiency and competitiveness in the national and foreign markets, ensure business compliance with international standards and regulations, which, in turn, will help attract customers and investors.

Project goals and objectives: The project's central focus is the implementation of the European approach to Compliance Management, with a strategic aim to elevate academic integrity, international management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and legal aspects in less experienced Ukrainian HEIs. The goal is to enhance teaching and assessment mechanisms for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), focusing on quality assurance, management, anti-bribery, and innovation in accordance with EU Compliance standards.
The objectives of the project are as follows:
- Elevating teaching methods. The project seeks to improve teaching and assessment mechanisms, quality assurance, management, and innovation in Ukrainian HEIs by integrating EU Compliance methodologies.
- Increasing accessibility of compliance education. Enhance the access and quality of Compliance Management education in the field of entrepreneurship, management, and law in Ukrainian HEIs to foster adaptability to European labour market requirements
- Fostering employment stability for Ukrainian university graduates. Ensure stability of employment opportunities for UA university graduates in the context of European integration and globalization through compliance competencies
- Empowering digital transformation. Promote digital transformation in teaching Compliance Management in Ukrainian partner HEIs through innovative tools, such as futurebook (e-book), podcasts, videos, and gamification solutions.
Activities:
1. Improving the teaching staff’s capabilities and capacities in Compliance Management teaching and research.
- Updating the EU content for enhancing the teaching skills of Ukrainian HEIs teaching staff according to EU experience and UA landscape.
- Developing and providing EU training program on Introduction EU Compliance Management education: innovation and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Providing 4 online webinars (8 days total) on Compliance Management (management, economics, entrepreneurship, law, and business ethics aspects).
- Developing 4 EU training programs and activities at “EUComplianceM4UAmethods” Summer school on EU teaching methods in Compliance Management education.
- Providing the EU Summer school “EUComplianceM4UAmethods” on EU teaching methods in Compliance Management education (management, economics, entrepreneurship, law, and business ethics aspects).
- Organizing final international project conference.
2. Developing 5 courses for Master's students at Ukrainian HEIs to improve the level of competencies, skills as well as employability potential and the Guidebook for Masters students “Compliance Management”.
3. Creating open integrated micro-certified short-learning Compliance Management program for business managers in order to better match labour market needs.
4. Empowering the digital transformation in the teaching of Compliance Management in Ukraine.
- Creating an introductory educational video for showcasing the European experience in Compliance Management.
- Creating The EUComplianceM4UA YouTube channel.
- Developing the Futurebook (e-book) “Compliance Management” for Masters students (in English and Ukrainian).
- Installing 5 university podcast studio.
- Developing educational podcasts on Compliance in Ukraine.
Expected results:
1. Developed capacity of academic staff in Compliance Management: teaching, training and research
- EU training program on Introduction EU Compliance Management education: innovation and interdisciplinary approaches; 28 representatives in total from EU and UA HEIs are trained
- 4 online webinars (8 days total) on Compliance Management; 25 representatives UA HEIs are trained
- EU Summer school “EUComplianceM4UAmethods” on EU teaching methods in Compliance Management education; 33 representatives of partner HEIs are trained
- Final international project conference; 28 representatives in total from EU and UA HEIs take part
- 161 internal certificates are issued after all studying and training activities in total
- 1 proposal for implementing Compliance Management approaches in Ukrainian Higher Educational is accepted
2. Innovative Compliance Management Courses Development for Master’s Students
- 5 Syllabi (in English and Ukrainian) for courses.
- 5 courses for Masters students, including educational materials, digital video and e-learning content
- Guidebook for Masters students “Compliance Management”
- Approx. 150 of students follow the courses at Master level
3. Certified Professional Development in Compliance Management
- One open integrated microcertified short-learning Compliance Management program for business managers, including educational materials, digital video and e-learning content.
